A. No. Men don't just 'get bulky' lifting weights so why would women? Men have ten times the testosterone as women. When a man puts a lot of effort into weight lifting he will quickly build muscle mass. Men tend to lose weight (and build muscle) faster than women. For a normal woman to get bulky she would have to overexert herself to reach a bulk state. Weight training is an important part of staying healthy and fit. Women over forty especially should be weight and strength training.
